Oh it’s winter time already. I haven’t posting in this page of mine for a while. Why? Because a mother of three boys, a wife of a busy IT worker, a self-called pro-blogger, a photography wanna be and a sociable me is obviously so very busy. And if there was a spare time, it was spent for relaxing or and sometimes make a living by means of blogging. I know you know what I mean.

By the way, about my kids there still my hyper active all boys children. Growing up and driving us parents nuts. They still love to go to school. Youngest has been going to kindergarten and he’s loving it. Hopefully next year, he’ll be ready for prep and I can work full-time or maybe study. Lot’s of plan for my family’s future. Hoping for the best because things were hard on us recently. We’re facing financial difficulties due to unexpected expenses. Some wrong decisions or moves were made and we’re correcting it. Sacrifice and patience is all we need.

I do! Do and I used Canon Camera 1000D with one macro lens and one zooming lens. I enjoyed photography and learning more about cameras. Now, does any of you used Panasonic Lumix camera? Why? Because Panasonic Lumix Life 2010 Promotion is now focusing Australia. And the promotion of LUMIX Life includes photo competition. Competition runs from April 1 to June 30. There will be 6 well regarded professional photographers that will be ambassadors for the promotion and help give credibility (including Ken Duncan). Pro photos will also be available to view on the website.There will be monthly giveaways as well as the final prize at the completion of the competition. Entrants will need to be from Australia and photos will also need to focus on Australia. How does it sounds to you? Interesting isn’t it? If I only knew from the start that there will be promotion like this, I should have bought Lumix camera. I love capturing Australia. I know for sure this is going to be an exciting event. Mostly, people loves cameras and loves taking pictures. I’m even addicted and dying to have my camera upgraded but my pocket can’t affort for it as of now. I will consider Lumix as an extra one soon.

I thought I already updated this blog but I was wrong. I wasn’t able to publish it waaah! Last post Feb 6, 2010? Oh my, two months pass! Oh well anyway, I’m really busy with so many things. And what makes me more busy are my kids of course. During their school holidays, they don’t want to just stay home. And if they’re just staying home they’d just play computer games and all computer games. Lack of physical activities so I had to made sure they’re out of the house half of the day to play in the park, visit friends and so on.

Today is the first day of school second term and I wasn’t able to write the last day of their on their first term. With the first week of school holidays is Holy Week so not much activities for them. But Black Saturday we went to Melbourne Zoo for the second time after two years. New attractions there and the kids loves the animals.

Easter Sunday fun? Egg hunting and then head to Gumbuya Park! A great adventure park that offers Tubugan ride, boat ride, etc sort of rides that are unusual for us. A great place for picnic. Feeding animals like Kangaroos and many more. It was really fun and memorable day with friends and family.

Next day Easter Monday we went to a Filipino gathering. Another egg hunting for kids and heaps of Filipino food. We’ve met new Filipino people. It was a great place to be. Karkarook Park. Some girls had fun playing bingo. Kids were happy with their chocolates. That was the happenings during the holidays.

We had a thought of buying digital tv recorders for us not to missed any single TV show that we love to watch. Even our kids always gets upset when they missed something with their favorites. Oh well, we’re still thinking about it. Undecided!

Last day of school holidays

Six weeks of school vacation and it’s over. Can’t believe how fast and the kids long wait is over too. They don’t like school holidays, I mean they prefer school days. It’s good though. They enjoyed much in school than home. Oh maybe because we parents are not good entertainers. Isn’t it? Oh well not really bad hehe. Sometimes yeah it’s tiring to handle three boys so we just let them play by themselves and they end up feeling so bored and then whinged.
The had fun anyway during Christmas and New Year with some other Filipino kids. Sons and daughter of our Filipino friends.

We attended some birthday parties. Picnic in the park and indoor swimming pool.

My kids also got new haircut that fits for summer. I find it cute with ther new look. Clean and tidy.

What’s new?

Oh it’s been a while no updates here. Was so busy and can’t afford to update all my blogs! Gosh, some are left unattended. Life situation change that’s why and got no hold of it.
Well, my kids are all well. Growing and very active and clever. My eldest Jover had his first communion last November 22 2009.

About their Taekwondo Martial Arts, they’re now blue belters. They had their grading last Saturday, Nov 28,2008 and it was held at Packer Park. After the grading was fun racing games and picnics for the family.

Boys are doing good at school. Just this morning, my eldest leave for camp for two nights and three days. I already miss him. It’s strange tonight without him. He’ll be fine I know. He’s a big boy now.

What’s next? School holiday is coming and it will be a long holiday. Summer time! Advance Merry Christmas to you all.

Jarred’s Good and Evil Fairytale

Well, I don’t know exactly how my middle child describe the good and evil characters but he got Student of the Week award too and was given Monday last week. He just told me to come to the morning assembly because he’s going to perform something. That was his teacher told him. When his name was called by the principal to receive his award, he was looking at me smiling and very proud. I just give him a kudos sign.

Jover strikes’s again-double strikes

I’m not talking about bowling game here. It’s about my eldest son’s performance at school. He got Student of the Week award for two consecutive weeks. What more can a mother like me feels when you know her son’s is doing well at school and almost in every field. Well, I’m not saying that he’s a genius or super smart. He’s a good student who strive and want to excel in everything. Thanks son for making me proud.

Our youngest fella’s 4rth birthday

Mjay turned 4 yesterday. Time flies so fast and soon he’ll be ready for school. We didn’t have a party for him, but we attended someone’s birthday party. He still had a blast as well as the big brothers. Our Filipino friend’s daughter turned one also yesterday. Instead of spending money to go somewhere and celebrate, we just attend the said party. It was a Filipino-studied party…haha what a term.

After the party, we had our own simple celebration at home with one of our family friend who has two kids. boys too. Mjay blow his birthday cake candle after we sang happy birthday to him. Funny that he still didn’t know how to blow candle. Instead of air will come out from his mouth, it was his saliva, hahaha. So big bro helped him to blow. We had a drink. Two bottle of flavored vodka and wine for my husband and my friend’s husband. Organic orange juice for the kids. Of course with few foods. The kids played Wii, DSi and PSP. Such a long and fun day.

Jover’s 9th birthday

We all adjourned that every year only one will have a birthday party. As you all know all my boys were born the same month and it’s too costly to celebrate one by one every other week. We had a joined party celebration before back in our country because we had lots of relatives and friends to invite. Here, there’s no relative anymore and only few friends.
My boys are not hard to convince about party and a simple toy gift and lollies is enough. But we shared a cake in their classroom and loot bags for the classmates. Since my eldest birthday fall on Saturday, we shared Friday and it happened to be the last day of school for term 3.
We asked what they want. We supposed to buy my two big boys a Nintendo DSi but my middle child doesn’t want Nintendo which is a good thing because we saved. All he want is a Bionicle toy or pieces of Lego to be assembled in robot. His really good in assembling stuff. We also bought educational Vtec toy for our youngest.
We had a simple celebration at home for my eldest 9th birthday after we went to church and had lunch out. Daddy baked a carrot cake and cooked spaghetti during dinner time.
By the way, first activity in the morning that we did on his birthday was to attend my boys Taekwondo Martial Art grading. They’re graded for the last stripes of their yellow belt and we’re proud to see how they improved and and how high their kicks now.
One more birthday is coming by the end of this month. Our youngest will be turning 4 and we’re going to attend a birthday party for our friend’s daughter’s first birthday. Maybe we’ll just bring our own cake for our lil fella to blow. Let’s just see…
