We really need a couple of new tv stands for our home. One will replace the old computer table in the lounge that we converted into a TV stand for our 32 inch flat panel. Of course, we want to replace this something bigger. I need a TV stand that can hold a few things like our set top box, our Xbox, our external speakers. We also need another one for our own room. I want to put the 32 inch TV there.

Setting Up a Pool

I’ve always thought that setting up your own pool in your own backyard was hard. Now a days a lot of people take a ‘Do-It-Yourself’ approach. They save a lot of money and they get the satisfying feeling of accomplishment. I would like to try to achieve this, and so I’m familiarizing myself will stuff like an inground pool pump and different types of hoses. I’m also starting to read up on effective ways of digging. This might be fun.

Kids really love to hang in the park. They don’t get tired, they can play whole day long. Well, I’m actually referring to my kids and most of my friends who has kids too. That’s why we do a lot of get together like having a picnic . Our kids get along well and we’re glad about it. We parents can have a chat too while kids are playing. Good thing we don’t need to bring kids picnic tables because picnic tables are already provided in the parks everywhere. Sometimes we just bring picnic mats and sit on it and tell the kids “come on kids let’s sit down, it’s time to eat!”.

Outback Foot Wear

When we first came here to Australia, my husband bought a pair of Vasque Boots online. I always wondered why needed those rugged shoes. I quickly understood this when we first visited the Australian Outback. I realized that I need to purchase foot wear like that too. Ordinary shoes won’t cut it for the rugged Australian Outback. Of course, it is a great feeling to be out and about. It is a greater feeling to be out and about wearing comfortable Outback shoes.

I Love Leather

I want to start painting leather so I can have the colors that I love. I have not yet seen a pink leather jacket, so I thought that I can paint my own designs a plain leather jacket. While I’m at it, maybe I will make a few more designs and colors to suit any occasion that I may need to attend. I just love leather, and of course I won’t stop with jackets. I love leather boots too.

Term Break

The kids are in the middle of their term break again, and it is time again to think of activities for them. Of course, I give them time to play their Nintendo Wii and DS games. But I want them to move about a bit, so of to the park we could in the afternoon. When my husband is around, we find time to watch the latest movies.

Musicality

I don’t how musicality started occupying my kids’ minds. They are now into a lot of things music related. My eldest loves to sing, and he is quite good at it. He also plays musical instruments well. He can also learn them quite easily. I think that he can even play Meinl cymbals or even a saxophone. My second son is also gift with a unique voice, and he does get the hang of playing musical instruments. I am very amazed with my youngest because he can already play some tunes on the keyboard.

Shows I Want

It’s a good thing that we have a very good and reliable Internet connection at home. I wouldn’t be able to have a vlc media player download as fast I had earlier. Of course, I use this player to watch most of my favorite Filipino shows. I also use it to listen to the latest music. But the best thing that I use it for it watch some of our funny home videos.

Advance Medicine

There are a lot of things that we have to be thankful for in this world. Things like nature and the miracle of life are of things beyond us; but there are things that we have to thank ourselves for. Advances in our technology is one of the things that we have to thank ourselves for. Things like back surgery laser and cures for a lot of the major diseases are thanks to our advancement in medical science. Without these, we would not be able to improve our own lives.

My singing children

As I’ve said before my kids are musically inclined and one thing that they really love to do is sing. They really enjoy doing it. They’ve been performing a lot of times already in some our parties together with our friends. Well, I just hope and pray they’re going to have future in music but of course it depends on what my kids own free will. Here’s one of the video taped by my husband, just a sort of practice.
